Dear Colleague:

You are cordially invited to join us at our 1st Prague Interventional Workshop – PIWO.
This Workshop will be a direct continuation of our Prague IWIR and ISIR meetings.
Our main goal is to provide you with an update in the most fascinating and rapidly
developing field of interventional radiology. This meeting is aimed mainly towards
young physicians interested in learning new methods and developments in this field.
Prominent European interventionalists will inform you about new achievements in
vascular and non-vascular interventions. Our Workshop will bring you live case
transmissions from prominent European and US institutions and, in addition, some
of the speakers will be cyber faculty members presenting via ISDN lines from over-
seas.

Leading manufacturers in interventional radiology will exhibit their products and
there will be ample time to visit these exhibits for discussion of items of interest.

We believe that PIWO will become a tradition and that we will continue to meet
yearly in Prague once again. Please join us in this exciting event.

Workshop Objectives:

Upon completion of the Workshop, participants will be able to:

• Apply the most recent developments to improve results and decrease costs of patient care.
